Shimuja is currently our favorite place for Ramen. We were originally introduces to Shimuja in 2020 by our Asian friends and they KNOW what ramen is and should taste like. This time around, we ordered as an Appetizer the following: 1. Tuna Mayo Onigiri It was okay.. not my personal favorite. 2. Pork Shimuja Buns SO GOOD Ramen: Kagoshima Special My ultimate favorite! The pork belly is to die for, the broth is unbelievable, noodles are always on point, and the Naruto is always a nice addition. Far warning: come hungry. You will be full FAST. We also tried the Otokoyama Sake - it was nice, refreshing (we ordered it cold), and fruity. They just renovated the restaurant 6 months ago as well. If you are in the area, it's a must try!

We love Shimuja and it's the best ramen place we've had in Broward. It's very pricy - $23 for the bowl of Kagoshima ramen and $14 for the karaage appetizer. The broth is lovely though - it is very creamy and bursting with flavor. The bowl might not look like much but it is very filling. Ambiance is very pretty and reminiscent of Japan. Service was also great - they are very very quick to take your plates and bowls from the table.

My husband and I recently visited Shimuja Ramen in Southwest Ranches on a busy Friday night, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience! Even without a reservation, we were seated quickly in a packed house. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between fancy and casual, making it a great spot for a date night or a laid-back dinner. We started with some refreshing boba tea, which was delightful, and I ordered the Kagoshima Special ramen. Both were exceptional! The flavors were rich and comforting, just what we were craving. The staff, including the hostess and our waitress, were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Another perk was the free parking, making it easy to get in and out. Overall, we highly recommend Shimuja Ramen and can't wait to return!

When my friend and I arrived, there were a few tables seated, but the dining room filled up quickly. Service was very quick and friendly. I ordered the Satsuma Tonkotsu - it was fresh and flavorful. Perfectly sized portion. My friend had the Pork Katsu Donburi, which was also well seasoned and tasty. We shared an order of gyoza. I would definitely dine here again to try their other dishes.

Ever since shimuja opened in Julia and Henry's, I've been dying to try their ramen because I heard that the chef who created and opened this restaurant creates such authentic ramen that it is sooooo hard to find in Miami! Little did I know what treat I was in for! I was even more ecstatic when they opened one in Southwest Ranches because it was closer for me. Although I am aware there are slight differences in both establishments, I thoroughly would recommend you try any shimuja branch! The broth embodied the flavor of the bones and the ramen was cooked just right that it was not too soft and had to perfect chew! I absolutely savored the flavor and texture of the pork slices and may I just add, the soft boiled eggs were definitely cooked to perfection! Just by looking at the photo, it does not do this ramen justice. Service was a little slow, but we went when it was busy, so I cannot complain there. Overall, I would definitely give it a try when you have the ramen cravings!

This is a great ramen spot in Davie with lots of options for appetizers, ramen, and boba! To start I tried the Takoyaki and Crispy Shrimp, both of which were absolutely delicious! The shrimp was coated in a unique batter I've never tried before, which gave it an almost sweet flavor that complemented the spicy mayo perfectly. The takoyaki was a stand-out for me, fried to perfection with perfectly cooked, fat chunks of octopus and a heap of bonito flakes on top. For entrees, my party all got the Kagoshima Special Ramen, a thick, rich tonkatsu broth base with perfectly soft-boiled eggs, crisp vegetables, and a massive portion of sliced pork belly. Literally. HEAVEN! I got a side of Habanero Spicy Miso, which tasted different from other spicy sauce add-ins I've had with ramen but was very delicious and fragrant, adding to the flavor without overpowering it. Overall, this was a really solid meal and I would love to come back and have everything again plus a boba tea.
